CITY HALL OFFICES & PUBLIC WORK OFFICES CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  March 17, 2020

IN A CONTINUING EFFORT TO LIMIT THE SPREAD OF THE COVID-19 VIRUS, MILTON-FREEWATER CITY HALL OFFICES, PUBLIC WORKS OFFICES & LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC BEGINNING MARCH 18TH THROUGH MARCH 31, 2020

While we will be closed to the public, we will still be open for business via our phone, email systems for our regular office hours of 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.

LIBRARY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

Milton Freewater LIBRARY will be closed to the public effective March 18th through March 31st. Books may be returned at either of the book drops---one on 8th Street side of the Library Building, and the other a stand-alone box on the west side of City Hall outside the police department. You may call the library (541) 938-8247 or email staff (please see the web site for a list email addresses) for assistance with renewing materials or to arrange for curb-side check out services. The Library will observe the special hours of 7:00 am to 3:30 p.m.

2019 Drinking Water Quality Report Available

We are pleased to provide you with our Annual Water Quality Report. It is important to us that we keep you informed about the excellent water quality and services we have provided to you over the past year. Our goal is and has always been to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. Our City water source comes from a total of four (4) well fields, which consist of seven (7) deep basalt wells.   See link below for the full annual drinking water quality report.  Past reports can be found at the bottom of the Public Works Water Department page.
