NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The City of Milton-Freewater, Oregon invites proposals for providing HVAC maintenance and services for City HVAC units.
The documents containing specifications and other materials are available at the Public Works Office of the City of Milton-Freewater located at 501 Lamb Street, Milton-Freewater, Oregon 97862. Copies may also be obtained by contacting Krista Gannon, Public Works Assistant/Project Aide at 541-938-8270 or at said address.
The Bidder declares and agrees that they will comply with all provisions of the Oregon Public Works Law as required by ORS 279.835 to 279.855 and all Federal and State statutes and regulations pertaining to Workers Compensation, Industrial Accident Insurance, Income Tax Withholding, Social Security and payment of bills for labor and materials. Workers shall be paid not less than the specified minimum hourly rate of wage, if the project is subject to the Prevailing Wage Rate Law.
Proposals must be labeled “HVAC Maintenance Program, Contract 312”, sealed and conform to all requirements contained within the bid documents and must be delivered at the above address by 2:00 p.m. on the 26th day of June 2024 and thereafter will be publicly opened and read aloud. Faxed bids will not be accepted.
The City of Milton-Freewater may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding that it is in the public interest to do so. The City reserves the right to accept the proposal deemed in the best interest of the City considering experience, qualifications and equipment of the bidders, and the time required for delivery.
