It’s that time of the year again…PUNCTURE VINE HUNTING SEASON!
Are you tired of removing puncture vine burs from your shoes, bicycle tires, and even your pets? Then please help the City of Milton-Freewater combat this pesky, noxious weed.
Beginning Thursday, July 11th, at 8:00 A.M. the City will pay a $1 per bag filled with puncture vine.
Please contact Code Enforcement with the Milton-Freewater Police Department at 722 South Main St. or call (541) 938-5511 to participate. Bags for the puncture vine will be provided to you by Code Enforcement.
PUNCTURE VINE HUNTING SEASON will run Thursday, July 11th through Friday, August 23rd or until funds are depleted.
