RFQ - Well 9 Hydrogeologic Assessment

The City of Milton-Freewater is seeking interested consulting firms to submit a list of pertinent qualifications for completing a hydrogeologic assessment for Well 9.  Well 9 is a municipal well drilled into the Columbia River Basalt Group in the 1950s.  The assessment should include work to determine physical condition of the well and provide recommendations for rehabilitating the well to address odor and excessive pumping drawdown.  The City will directly contract with other providers to pull the pump from the well, inspect the pump and to camera the well.  The consultant would be require

Request for Design/Construct Proposals for Braeburn Lift Station

 

The City of Milton-Freewater, Oregon is seeking interested firms to submit a design and proposal to replace an existing wastewater lift station.  Responses must be sealed and addressed to the City of Milton-Freewater, Attn:  Brian Steadman, Public Works Superintendent and will be accepted by the Public Works Department, 501 Lamb Street, PO Box 6, Milton-Freewater, OR  97862 before December 22, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. local time  Proposers are solely responsible for meeting this deadline. 

 

2021 Dog License now avaiable

Attention dog owners of Milton-Freewater:  2021 dog licenses are for sale now at the Milton-Freewater Police Department.  The dog licenses are $10 if your pet is spayed or neutered and $35 if not.  Please bring proof of a current rabies vaccination with you from a licensed veterinarian.  A late fee of $10 will be assessed to each dog license purchased beginning March 1, 2020."

Request for Proposals - C295 City Hall Second Floor Finance Department Improvements for Covid-19 Threat Mitigation

National Drug Take Back Day

Milton-Freewater is participating in the participates in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, Saturday October 24th. You can bring expired or unwanted prescription drugs into the lobby of the Police Department where there will be a barrel to leave the drugs. Please bring the drugs in original container if you are able to otherwise in a sealed container or zip lock bag. Utility Bill Assistance Program

City of Milton-Freewater’s Utility Bill Assistance Program is managed in cooperation with Milton- Freewater Ministerial Association
to help the underprivileged in our community pay their winter utility bills. The money received through this program stays within the
Milton-Freewater electric service area.

Request for Proposals - Aquatic Center Resurfacing C293

The City of Milton-Freewater is seeking interested contracting firms to submit a proposal accompanied by a list of pertinent qualifications for the preparation and resurfacing of the existing swimming pool surface with commercial quartz finish as well as any necessary expansion joint remediation and tile repair work. Work shall include all necessary preparation and application of surface material and include new inlet circulation fittings, Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act main drain covers, entrance step marker tile and one new hydrostatic relief valve.
