The City of Milton-Freewater is currently accepting applications for the position of Lifeguard for the 2017 Summer Aquatic Center season. Lifeguard applicants must have current lifeguard certification, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid before employment begins. Salary:                             $15.40 - $18.71 per hour

Duties:                            

Enforces City codes relating to animals, parking, weeds and debris, vehicle abatement,

intersection vision clearance and other related work as required.

Qualifications:                

Considerable knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of non-criminal codes.

Ability to read and write instructions and to deal with the public in a firm but courteous

manner.

Salary:            $23.54 – 28.63            DPSST Certification Basic

                        $24.25 – 29.49            DPSST Certification Intermediate

                        $24.95 – 30.35            DPSST Certification Advanced

and local laws, regulations and ordinances.  Accepts related work and assignments as required.
