Governor Kate Brown Announces Changes to County Reopening Status for Umatilla County Due to Rapid Spread of COVID-19
Due to Governor Kate Brown's order to Umatilla County to move back to Baseline Stay Home effective 7/31/2020.
For us here at the city the following changes will go into effect at 7/31/2020 at noon:
Our Aquatic Center will close at noon for the season.
No park shelter reservations will be allowed effective immediately until further notice.
City playgrounds, skate parks, ballfields, and tennis courts will be closed at noon.
All soccer team and ball club uses of city fields should be canceled.
The Library Summer Reading program will be canceled. No story time gatherings, etc.
Indoor and outdoor gatherings must be limited to 10 WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING IN PLACE.
We will continue to stay closed to the public in ALL city buildings until further notice.
This is hard, and very devastating to us. But we are strong and resilient in Umatilla County and we will RISE ABOVE and GET THROUGH THIS TOGETHER. Stay safe. Stay Strong. Stay Positive.
