February 2020 Flooding - FEMA Disaster Relief Funds available
STATE OF OREGON FEDERAL DISASTER DECLARATION FACT SHEET APRIL 3, 2020
Today, April 3, 2020, President Donald J. Trump granted a Major Disaster Declaration for the State of Oregon triggering the release of Federal funds to help people and communities recover from Severe Storms, Flooding, Landslides, and Mudslides that occurred February 5-9, 2020. Details of the disaster declaration and assistance programs are as follows:

Individual Assistance (IA): (Assistance to individuals and households):
IA-Designated Areas: Umatilla County and the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation.
Public Assistance (PA): (Assistance for emergency work and the repair or replacement of disaster-damaged facilities):
PA-Designated Areas: Umatilla, Union, Wallowa Counties and the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation.

Organized by: US Senator Ron Wyden, US Senator Jeff Merkley, US Representative Greg Walden, Oregon Governor Kate Brown
Resources to include: State, federal and local agencies and volunteers that can help with access to programs and information related to insurance, housing/housing repair, public health, counseling, social services, agricultural disaster programs, infrastructure repair, debris removal and river/stream bank restoration.
